Last updated 15 October 2026. Plain terms for parents, guardians, teachers and schools. How we handle personal information is in the privacy policy.
Vana Learning, Gurgaon, Haryana, India ("we"). By using the app, or by letting a child use it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Questions: madhav@vanalearning.com.
Vana is made for children. A child under 18 should use it only with a parent's or guardian's permission, or at the request of their school. A parent or guardian who allows a child to use Vana Home is responsible for that child's use.
Vana is a practice tool for maths and English. It does not replace a teacher, and we do not promise any particular exam result or learning outcome. The progress shown (skills, levels, leaves, the forest) is our estimate from the questions answered.
The app, questions, pictures, audio and videos belong to Vana Learning or are used under licence (credits are in the app's About screen). You may use them to learn, not to copy or resell.
We will tell you before anything is charged. A school's use may be under a separate written agreement.
We try to keep the app working but do not promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or stop features. Practice is saved on the device and synced when there is a connection; we cannot guarantee that a lost or cleared device keeps its progress.
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian law that cannot be limited.
You can stop using Vana at any time. To have an account deleted, email madhav@vanalearning.com; we delete it within 30 days (see the privacy policy). We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction. Complaints go first to our grievance officer, Madhav Mohan, at madhav@vanalearning.com. If we change them we will change the date above, and tell parents through the teacher or the app when the change is material.
